When I go to check the status it says, "no information about your refund can be given at this time", or "we have no information about your refund, please make sure you have put in all the correct information". As stated above always a run around! It's really getting ridiculous that the money due to us is being with held, delayed or just not being sent. As said by many, these are hard times for everyone, especially the regular hardworking average salary person such as myself & the many tax consultants as well & yes sadly the consultants are getting blamed, even I was upset at 1st but realized immediately a/f the emotion that I'm upset w/ the wrong people. As a result many of our clients have had their NY refund checks delayed. The worst part of it from our perspective is that some of our clients are blaming us, the tax consultant, and we are losing business. This results in less business for us and thus less tax revenue for NY State. It's a sorry state of affairs. @ Chrystal

If I am to receive my check on the 29th then why must I wait another day. This is the same reason why I did it early this year cause I waited so long last year. Yes their are hard times and this is my money that I have work so hard for. The funny thing is that they are watching our money so hard when millions of dollars are given to those who are not in a struggle like me and you.
