WELCOME

Thank you for participating in R&G Brenner’s Tax Tips Newsletter. This has been a rough year all around for NY residents and U.S. taxpayers as a whole; which was a driving force for the creation of these newsletters. My goal is to inform you of new tax laws and their affects, tax savings tips & general tax related matters of interest.

We have totally revamped our website in 2010 where you will find a bounty of new features including online refund status links, new promotions, online appointment scheduler, R&G Brenner blog (which we encourage you to participate in) our “Go Green” initiative with paperless tax copies and much much more.

The tax laws have changed drastically again this year. Before you explore the topics below, be sure to check out these 5 important changes for tax year 2009. Thank you again, and feel free to write R&G Brenner with any suggestions you may have or a testimonial if any of our associates went above and beyond to help you. Here’s to a prosperous 2010!

Sincerely,

Benjamin K. Brenner
President

“DEATH TAX” EXPIRES, EXTRA TAX PLANNING REQUIRED

The only certainties in life are Death & Taxes as the old saying goes. But thanks to the inaction of Congress, wealthy taxpayers have one less tax to pay in 2010. On the surface this should be a good thing, but unfortunately, it’s not that simple… Continue reading.

NY ELIMINATES MAILING 1099-G’s
