About Melissa

My education as a CPA and my experience in private business gives me a unique perspective on practical solutions to many difficult situations. I'm a member of the NATP, and have a Masters in Accounting from Northeastern University. I've been preparing individual taxes for 1 year, private business for 25 years, and public accounting for 5 years.

My favorite part of this business is coming up with new strategies for issues that have been done the same way year after year in order to uncover potential deductions and credits.

In addition, my business experience gives me a unique perspective on customer service - I pride myself on following up quickly on client emails and phone calls - no matter how many questions or concerns.

Small Business Owners and Independent Contractors.

I earned a BA in Economics from Brandeis University, a MS in Accounting from Northeastern University, then worked for Price Waterhouse as a CPA. After 5 years, I left to build the largest private summer day camp in New Jersey - where I managed 1000 children, 2000 parents and 300 staff every summer. After selling my business and reactivating my CPA, I decided to go back into tax preparation. In addition to giving me a unique tax perspective, my business experience has given me the ability to calm and organized during a very busy tax season.
